Al Nakkula Award

The Denver Press Club, in association with the Rocky Mountain News and the University of Colorado School of Journalism and Mass Communication, presents the Al Nakkula Award each year to a reporter for outstanding accomplishment in police reporting.

Recipients of the “Nak” Award are honored at a reception in their honor at the Press Club.
